 Fiddle lessons are available for $20/hr. The aim is to introduce students to Appalachian repertoire, tunings, and bowing patterns. Bowing is the lynchpin of the old-timey sound and learning new and more complicated patterns will guide us from one lesson to the next. Please bring an audio or video recorder to lessons; Old time is an aural tradition and I teach without notation.
